Went for a relaxing cruise up Angeles Crest today and was reminded of how dangerous it can be. I mean my Mazda 6 is not GT3 but I try to stay within my and the car’s limit.

Man do they prepare for the worst when they hear about a car accident. There was probably 6 emergency vehicles and the helicopter.

Driver of the car is fine though!

The most dangerous roads are the ones that have enough straights for high-power cars to gather way too much speed.

He's also lucky he crash in a spot with a guard rail to prevent that from happening. From tire marks though he did appear to fishtail pretty close to the rail or maybe even touched.

It's pretty awesome but it's all about timing. I usually am pretty lucky with having it pretty empty but there are times when the person in front of you just flat out refuses to ever let you pass until they turn to wherever they need to go.

Damn that looks bad. Honestly I'm too scared to push it that far. Also I make sure I move at my own pace and not try to chase anyone down. When you rush or try to show off that's when mistakes happen.

Yeah I have that problem with my favorite back road. I hate passing in non legal areas, but sometimes you just have to. Oh well
